Through the years, I always found that writting brought me to a place of serenity. A place where there was no judgement, no criticism, no anger, nothing. Alone in the dark
Tears fill my eyes
fall on my cheeks like rain

Alone in the dark
Memories of you fill my head
Your face haunts my dreams

Alone in the dark
My heart feels heavy with pain
My screams are left unheard

Alone in the dark
Missing you is all I can do
closing my eyes wishing you would appear

Silence has never been so loud
Unable to hear my thoughts
My heart is beating too fast

Won’t you please come back
Come back and take the tears away
Come back where you belong

Come back and break this silence
Come back and bring the light back in my life
Come back and take way the pain
